Connor holds a Bachelor's and Masters in Mechanical Engineering, but his real passion turned out to be building and real estate. He started from the ground up (literally) learning construction hands-on before betting on himself with nights-and-weekends flips and early investments that didn't always go as planned.

That grit paid off. Orcutt Construction now has a full team, has completed dozens of flips across North Carolina, and is expanding into new construction - with a goal of breaking ground on one new build every month in 2026.
